School Support Staff Training Days
Tuesday, 03 April 2018 09:50

As part of the Regional Schools FFLO project, it was agreed that a special training day take place for school support staff in each County. These have all now been booked as follows:-

29th May - Norfolk/Suffolk – Autism Awareness
28th April – Essex – Behaviour Management
26th May – Herts – Closing the Gap
30th June – Beds – Behaviour Management
23rd June – Cambs – Behaviour Management

Most venues are still to be secured (the Essex seminar will be in Chapter House, Chelmsford), but the FFLO’s will be looking to book venues and will keep you posted.

The cost of these events (venue, refreshments etc) is being met through learning grants as well as LAOS (there are Open University Tutors coming to talk at each), but I am writing to ask that branches meet the cost of any travelling expenses, as well as reasonable childcare costs of members attending? We are looking at about 20-30 members at each event, so the cost will not be too much to branches. Please get back to me if there is an issue with this – if I don’t hear from you, I’ll assume you are happy with this arrangement.

Also, the FFLO’s will be promoting this event as much as possible, so please can I ask that you assist with advertising the event when and where you can.
